The line ticket allows you to stand in a line and maybe get a chance to be part of the audience. The priority tickets are guaranteed to get into the taping for the day/time as long as they arrive by the time on the ticket. First of all, when you receive your "ticket", it may be a priority ticket or a line ticket. I just got home from a tapping of Family Feud at the Georgia World Congress Center and what an experience it was! Steve Harvey was great and as funny as ever in person, but the whole process leaves a lot to be desired. I responded we would just ask God while we are praying for Him to make us rich. When we were finally let out we asked the staff when the show would air and nobody knew. When the second show was over they didn't let us out until Steve gave a sermon about asking God to make you rich. This is the only time you can leave the studio to use the bathroom. There were two shows taped back-to-back with a short intermission between shows. Please be mindful he does use the "F" word alot and there were teens (16 and up) in the audience. The best parts were between commercial breaks when Steve would talk to the audience, make jokes and answer pre-written questions. When the show finally starts it is very enjoyable to watch and Steve Harvey is incredibly funny and quick. He makes a point of telling the audience they are about to see a FREE live comedy show as a way of saying therefore you must obey my orders. The warm up guy energizes the crowd and instructs you when to cheer, applaud, stand, etc. They offer water to the contestants but nothing for the audience. No gum chewing is allowed so bring mints as your mouth will get dry. Also, it gets very warm with all the people and lights so dress appropriately.

This was a cold day so many people had on coats but once inside the studio you have to put everything under your seat so it's not visible and the floor is filthy so I would suggest you don't bring anything you are not wearing inside the studio. It must be cheaper to tape in this old venue instead of a TV studio.

There are dirty bathrooms and a small cash only snack shop. There is alot of sitting around waiting before you actually enter the studio. No cell phones/electronics are allowed! Large purses are also not allowed so leave in car. Parking is free in the back of the Civic Center where the entrance is. A priority ticket (if available) will guarantee you get in, otherwise you will wait in line and see if there is availability. Tickets are free to attend and available online.
